The mission of Ty’s STEM Aces is to revolutionize how students learn and apply their knowledge by integrating global STEM-AI principles, cultural literacy, and elite tennis training into an innovative program. Through a dynamic, multidisciplinary STEM curriculum themed around global tennis tournaments, we provide students with year-round opportunities to engage with AI, machine learning, and cutting-edge technology. We support at-risk and underserved youth, inspiring them to envision a future beyond their current circumstances, improving employability outcomes. We also aim to elevate students from specialty private and charter schools allowing them to learn in an environment optimized for their individual needs, instead of traditional classrooms where they don't thrive. With a focus on design thinking, we equip students to take ownership of their futures, designing lives and careers rooted in their interests.

Our goal is to connect STEM concepts, AI, and problem-solving skills to practical applications in a fun, interactive environment. Our workshops cover foundational topics tailored to be engaging and practical. They include hands-on projects related to tennis, such as understanding the physics of ball movement, basic coding to analyze game statistics, and engineering challenges like designing innovative tennis equipment. We introduce AI and machine learning by exploring data-driven techniques for optimizing training regimens and creating predictive models for match outcomes through AI simulations.

Each two-week session focuses on a different country following the Grand Slam tournament calendar, from learning advanced tennis tactics in France to mastering innovative STEM applications in Australia, all while embracing the richness of each region.
